Slides were just the first shape. What Slideless really shares is digital assets, encapsulated in HTML, and we think a new kind of software gets built on pages like these.

Slideless is a CLI before it is anything else, because the hands holding it are rarely on a keyboard. Ask your agent for a deck and you get one: hosted, versioned, shareable, without opening a single editor.

A living document

A deck is a link, not an attachment. Update it and everyone holds the newest version, while the trail of versions stays behind it, so nothing is lost by moving forward. Collaboration happens on the artefact itself, never on exported copies drifting through inboxes.

A page can be a moment

A Slideless page is saved as it was, data included. Keep the pages a project produces and they become its history: each one a checkpoint you can return to, showing the project exactly as it stood, with no database archaeology and no interface that has since moved on. We think this is one of the quiet paradigm shifts agents make possible, and we are writing it up in the journal.
